We’ve always been told to find something that we’re passionate about and go after it so that we can be successful.

Whenever you speak to an older styled coach, their first question would be “Well what are you passionate about”; What do you like to do; Are you willing to do what it takes to make your business a success?

Success is always been linked to ensuring that we have the energy and motivation to continue on through what can be a difficult journey but it has been linked to Passion.

The fact that we are passionate about our job means that we’re willing to push just a little bit harder through the difficult times because we are emotionally attached to the outcome.

So this can be a bit of a myth because we don’t always love what we do, we are not always passionate about the career we have chosen in order for us to be successful. Often time people pick something they are passionate about and venture down that road until they bump into the difficult things associated with that job but they didn’t see if before.

There are things in life and jobs in life that we must do in order to not only be successful but in order to survive, to put food on the table, fuel in your car and help you enjoy a reasonable lifestyle.

Now this is a great lesson to learn because as you are becoming more successful you are going to be asked to do different jobs, you are going to be asked to do different tasks, and they most often are not things that you want to do;

they’re not things that you are passionate about.

And because of your mindset you will avoid doing them because you are still linked to ‘feeling passionate” instead of thinking ‘what is the purpose of this”.

You don’t need to love what you do to be successful, you don’t need to do something that you’re not passionate about in order to be successful.

For example when I first started creating videos I really didn’t like it. I really wasn’t good at it; I really struggled with it and it took me 10 times more effort to be able to create a video than be able to do it in one take.

And that journey started because another promoter needed me to do videos for his event that I was presenting at.

And I have to tell you trying to create my first videos was one big nightmare to me.

But the reason I do videos now is that I know the power of video and I know I can help more people by producing them.

And the reason I do other jobs that I really don’t want to do and that I’m not passionate about is because – I am passionate about being successful.

I am passionate about creating wealth and in order to do that there are jobs, promos and events that I will sign up for in order to help more people create their success and their wealth.

If you embrace the idea that you are helping others or that you are building your wealth, then you will gain more enthusiasm and more confidence to be able to complete those jobs.

So why do I say
You don’t need to love what you do to be successful

Just remember It’s about your purpose; it’s about the end result; it’s about the bigger picture; and as you evolve and learn more, then those ‘less desirable jobs’ will become easier to undertake and complete as you see your wealth increase.

I look forward to seeing you online; in a one:one coaching session; over on Youtube or Facebook…. Or in person really soon.
